My name is Danielle and I am the owner. I started Her Golden Empire following a trip to Ghana, West Africa in 2019. I learned so much about how significant gold was in the lives of African royal dynasties. Their land was formally known as the "Gold Coast" and is now recognized as the Republic of Ghana. I also learned the significance of its role in the slave trade, the Diaspora. Over many decades, the stories of the kings and queens' divine royalties faded out as the slave trade overshadowed. I started this brand as a reminder of the royalties we possess from our ancestors and will continue to cherish within.
